The West Baton Rouge Parish Fire Department is a combination fire and emergency service organization that provides fire prevention, fire suppression, emergency medical services, hazardous materials and technical rescue services. The department operates 12 fire stations covering West Baton Rouge Parish.

It shall be the mission of the West Baton Rouge Parish Fire Department to professionally and effectively protect life and property through the prevention and/or suppression of fires, administering EMS and/or other emergencies. In addition, striving every day to improve the quality of life for all our citizens.
