A national touring exhibition sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities.  This exhibit explores the life arc of a single generation who were shaped by their experiences during the Depression, WWII, the economic boom of the postwar era, and the burgeoning Civil Rights era. On November 4^th, plan on attending the opening reception just  before the Port Allen Veteran’s Day parade. Then get a front row seat to watch the parade roll by the museum’s grounds. Free.
