 A national touring exhibition sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities.  This exhibit explores the life arc of a single generation who were shaped by their experiences during the Depression, WWII, the economic boom of the postwar era, and the burgeoning Civil Rights era. On November 4th, plan on attending the opening reception just  before the Port Allen Veteran’s Day parade. Then get a front row seat to watch the parade roll by the museum’s grounds. Free.
